Okay, I happen to be an avid fan of 's artwork and I was just reading a journal entry he/she/it posted and I am astonished by the response it has received. So many fan-girls (and yes, I am calling them fan-girls) have left comments regarding the fact he's getting a Monroe piercing, of which he/she/it is excited about. [*NOTE: I am saying he/she/it because he has now decided that he wants to be a girl...ask him if you yourself are confused.] All these little girls are like "OOH! Monroe piercings are soooo hot," and stuff (one even had the balls to ask what a Monroe piercing was, which I thought was quite comical).

I thought it was strange/weird/funny that these girls are writing comments to him, thinking he actually cares what they have to say. They find him to be so accessible simply because he has a webpage with commenting ability.

Here's a reality check for them: McDonald's has a webpage. They have a little spot that says "Questions?" with an e-mail address next to it. This must make them so accessible to the public. But get this...THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY. (Ahem...unless you are suing them...)

*DISCLAIMER: I am in no way implying that is a brand, or commonplace or commercial or anything like that. However, he would seem to be just as popular as far as I am concerned with DA.

He's just an artist that wants to be recognized. According to what he has posted so far, he does not want to hear about how pretty you think he is. He wants to be recognized for his work. Otherwise, he is a liar and simply writes that for attention, knowing that these girls just don't get it and will write him silly love notes anyway.

As far as I am concerned, yes, I think he is attractive, and I will not attempt to deny that. But more importantly, I think he has an amazing eye for photography and brilliant artistic skills in various media, and for that I admire him and aspire to be skilled like him. Also, I assume that like myself, he has a life outside this website and his artwork and that he does not rely on silly little stroking comments (that reassure him he is God's gift to the Earth and that he is making it a better place with his Monroe piercing) to get him through his day. But guess what? I DON'T KNOW HIM ANY BETTER THAN YOU DO.
